About

Taiwan-Japan Alliance of Local Revitalization and Social Practice (hereinafter referred to as Taiwan-Japan Alliance) is a platform to promote the exchange of experiences in social practices between universities in Taiwan and Japan.

Taiwan and Japan share similar geopolitical, economic development and demographic structures and face similar structural problems with their respective societies.

In both Taiwan and Japan, universities are important actors in responding to local issues by combining teaching and research with practice-based work.
